Myself and my husband had a lovely lunch here today and the steak pie was terrific. Everything cooked to order, staff very friendly and the place is emmaculately clean. Would definitely recommend this nice little restaurant.

We looked for a dog friendly eating place. And the vaults came up on the search .We have to be honest we did think to just have a drink and go but we did order food , which it was very surprising for us , this little place puts so much effort and passion on their food , and the food was absolutely amazingly good . The locals were absolutely friendly , haha not like in Edinburgh. We highly recommend this place . And we are looking forward to go before we head back home 🥰.

We just stopped after a long way driving , and we wanted to eat a nice dinner. This place was recommended by some friends, but we couldnt try out. The waitress girl told us they do not have free table,they are busy. Half of the tables were free, and nothing any sign on them with reserved sign or any other information about a private occassion.
Also she didnt offer any other option when or where can we eat a dinner.
What is more she was not so kind, her communication skills needs to develop.

Just had Lunch today 17th August 2024 on the reopening of the Restaurant with I believe a new Chef,
Wife and I both ordered the steak pie chips and mixed Veg.
I’m 69 and I’ve never had a better steak pie. It was fantastic and great value.
Staff were very friendly and all in all an experience to easily recommend.

Went to Girvan for the day with my wife and grandson and our wee dog.had great food at The Vaults..made very welcome and dog friendly would definitely return 😀

Ist time in the vaults. It was late afternoon, and it was busy.
Service was very prompt. The food was great. I had the chicken breast chilli served with chips and salad. The vaults homemade steak burger was fantastic as well. Choice of cheese and sauces.
Next time I visit Girvan,will pop in again

First time in The Vaults and very impressed. Decor clean but simple, bright and friendly service , the food excellent and very well presented. From this one visit with my wife I would suggest that this may well be the best eating house in Girvan. Thank you, we will be back again soon.

The Vaults is on Dalrymple st Girvan.Right hand side heading South. We only stopped for a short time for a cold drink on a welcome hot day. Lovely lounge. Sorry, took no photos.🙄

Walked in without a booking this evening.
I’m working away from home so fancied something that didn’t involve chips.
Reviews were ok and a few mentions of the steak pie.
This is what I ordered with Potatoes and veg.
Home cooked and very tasty and a complete bargain.
Nothing fancy but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
If you’re in the area it’s worth a look.
I would definitely go here again if in the area.

We stopped by for a bite to eat on an early Sunday evening. This little eaterie is located just on the outskirts of Girvan Town centre on the main road, and we had no problem finding a car parking space on the street outside.
The restaurant was small and intimate, with a romantic setting so ideal for couples. The ladies who served us were very friendly and accommodating, and as we were the only other couple in the restaurant, we were served immediately.
We both had a chicken burger with bacon,mozzarella, and mayo. The burger was rubbery like it had been frozen, but the chips and salad were lovely. The prices were too expensive for the quality of the food at over £9 each, and we were charged £4 for two small glasses of coke, which was extortionate.
Overall, our experience was disappointing and we will not be visiting again.
